What Happens When You Downgrade
Immediate Downgrade
- New limits apply immediately
- May lose access to features
- No refund for unused time
- Staff/rooms over limit become inactive
Downgrade at End of Period (Recommended)
- Keep current features until billing date
- Plan changes on next billing date
- Time to adjust to new limits
- Get full value for money paid
💡 Best Practice: Always choose "End of Period" when downgrading to keep access to features you've already paid for.
Handling Plan Limits After Downgrade
Professional → Starter
- More than 50 rooms? Deactivate extra rooms first
- More than 10 staff? Remove or deactivate extra accounts
- Multiple hotels? Choose one primary hotel
- Restaurant orders: Limited to 300/month
Starter/Professional → Free
- More than 5 rooms? Must remove rooms (archive old ones)
- More than 3 staff? Remove extra staff accounts
- Restaurant features: Disabled completely
📝 Data Safety: Your booking history and data are never deleted when you downgrade. You just can't add new items over the limit.
